17th Annual Afternoon Tea & Luncheon – CANCELED

In light of precautionary measures recommended with regards to coronavirus (COVID-19), we made the difficult decision to postpone our Sweets and Savories High Tea scheduled for Saturday, May 9th, 2020. The tea is our annual fundraiser but we strongly believe that our community’s health takes top priority. While no cases have been reported in the county as of March 14th, minimizing large gatherings of people can help us slow the spread of the disease within the United States. We will keep you updated and reschedule the tea when it is safe to do so.

Please look to Inyo County Public Health and Prevention Division ( for more updates and information regarding coronavirus. Take care of yourselves and each other!

Congratulations to Laura Diko, this years “featured artist.” Her watercolor of the “Slim Princess” was voted “Best of Show” in 2018. Laura has been an Eastern Sierra resident since 2013. She escaped the city after 25 years as a medical transcriber in San Diego where she was a member of the San Diego Watercolor society. She loves the Eastern Sierra as her backyard and when she is not painting you will find her fly fishing or jeeping.
